.
Gathering slowly in the quiet continuity of moments that are returned to.
The child remains with what she has made, not to perfect it, but to stay close enough for it to begin to feel familiar.
Within this space, the imagined is given time to deepen. Figures take on a steadiness. They begin to hold feeling, to receive it, to reflect it back in ways that are simple and sufficient. Nothing is required of them beyond presence, and in that, they become reliable.
What is held outwardly is also felt within, though not yet named as such. She places parts of herself into the world she has made, beginning to find her place within it.
There is no boundary between what is real and what is imagined. The value lies in the staying, in the repetition, in the quiet act of holding something in mind long enough for it to hold you back.
A quiet sense of being, shaped in a space where imagination is allowed to remain.
